Blank Street Coffee NYC
If you live in NYC, you may have noticed Blank Street Coffee popping up in the cutest little nooks in SoHo and in Williamsburg. Blank Street is a sustainable, small-format coffeeshop reminiscent of the little coffee carts in Copenhagen housing just enough to help serve your thirst on-the-go, yet not leaving much of a footprint once they’re out for the day.
After deciding to stay in town last minute, I spent some of this Memorial Day holiday weekend exploring my old neighborhood and found quite a few locations. Some are wedged in between buildings, others now inhabit old walk-up counters (RIP Brodo on Lafayette), whilst some are reincarnations of old faves like La Esquina on Wythe in Williamsburg.
The latter having proper sit down thanks to the great outdoor space which has been updated with socially distanced tables great for catching up with a friend or perhaps some laptop time which is where I am writing this right now whilst they play The Strokes. *Nostalgia*
